Twelve weeks, one chapter at a time. One idea worked through properly, one thing you build and keep, and one person brought into your room — every single week.
Most business owners have stopped enjoying networking, and nearly all of them have concluded they are bad at it.
That is usually not what is happening. They were sent into the room with the wrong instruction — collect cards, work the room, follow up — and then judged themselves against how uncomfortable it felt.
This programme starts from the other end. Instead of working other people's rooms, you build one of your own. It follows the twelve chapters of Build the Room, a chapter a week, with a live session and one task that never changes.
Your room is simply the people you have brought in. It is counted on your profile and it moves the rungs on your ladder — 25, 50, 100, 250. You do not have to do the programme to build it.
Invite people when it suits you. The count on your profile goes up, the rungs tick, nobody chases you. This is a perfectly good answer and plenty of members will choose it.
Twelve weeks and a method, with a live session and other people doing it at the same time. Same rungs, same count — you just have a structure instead of guessing, and you learn why the room works, not only how to grow it.
The book breaks itself at nine. Chapters one to nine build the room. Ten to twelve design the community inside it.
That break is the same distinction your profile now makes. A room is how many people you brought in. A community is how well they know each other. The first nine weeks grow the count; the last three turn it into something with relationships running in every direction.
Ninety minutes on Zoom. The same session runs twice a week — Tuesday 10:00am and Thursday 3:00pm, Sydney time. Come to whichever suits your week. It is the same session both times, so you never need both, and a clash never costs you a week.
Bring one name. Not a list — one person you already know who you think belongs in the room you are building. That task is the one thing that runs through all twelve weeks.
Every profile. Members, founders, specialists and facilitators all build rooms, and the method is the same for all of them — this is not a specialists' programme.
Facilitators also run it. A Facilitator carries a caseload of up to 150 members, and Build Your Room is one of the things they deliver across it — so if you have a Facilitator, ask them: they may already be running a cohort you can join.
Say so on your dashboard — the Programmes you could join card records your answer and sends it to your Facilitator. “Not yet” is a real answer; it tells them to come back to you rather than assume you decided against it.
